FAQ

  • Yes. We are sanctioned by USATF each year. Our course however is not certified by USATF just yet. We are expecting this to be completed in time for the 3rd annual LCRF.

  • No. Due to space restrictions and safety reasons, we are not able to accommodate strollers or pets on this course.

  • Yes. As long as USATF does not change their rules, we will continue to allow headphones.

  • Most of the course takes place on paved roads. There is a small section at the start and finish that are on grass.

  • Yes. This course takes the shape of a lollipop (out and back with a circle). The “out” part of the course is marked in one color arrow, the “back” is marked in a different color.

  • Generally flat.

  • There are 5 aid stations which you will hit twice each. Should you have an emergency, please let an aid station know and they will call for help. We will also have a sweep car moving throughout the course to check on participants.

  • If you are on the course, stop at an aid station or let another runner know. We have vehicles moving throughout the course to provide assistance. If you need medical assistance before or after the race, please see the first aid tent.

  • This is only our second year, but our first year had over 350 participants and hundreds of spectators and volunteers. For our second year, we expect this number to increase.

  • You packet will come in a drawstring bag and include a race shirt, items from our sponsors, a small gift from the race organizers, and some sample products.

  • Yes you can. The entire course stays open for 3 hours, but the finish line stays open until the last runner crosses. That means, if you take more than 3 hours, you will no longer have course support or traffic control.

  • Yes. We use a brand-new timing system from RaceResult. Your chip will be located on your bib and you will receive a “gun” time and a “net” time.

  • Yes. We will have awards for the top three men and women in each race. We will also have awards for the top three men and women in each age group. Last year you told us you wanted awards earlier and results faster. We heard you. Check out the race schedule to see the award times.

  • ASAP. We will have a TV running at the finish line with live results but you personal results can be expected within a few hours of the race ending. We are a small but mighty team and will get the results emailed out as soon as possible. We are working on fitting our timing system to send out automatic results as you finish.

  • Yes. All participants will receive a medal. They must be ordered well in advance so we have to estimate how many participants we will have roughly 3.5 months before the race. If we were to run out (we don’t plan on it), we would send you a medal after the race.

  • No, we do not allow deferrals or refunds. We do however have race insurance.

  • Yes, you may transfer between any of our races. There will be a fee if you go up in race length.
